I have a friend who gave me a Catholic Site and said I should join..right now just interested in friends, I finally agreed to :). So I get on it and look around and it's okay, I guess :), I called my mom(St. V & i'm her oldest daughter) :) and she said that not all of them are good ones to join and that some people on here have done them before. It's Catholicsingles.com. I'm kinda afraid of internet dating :)...

I'm working on my annulment right now ( I married a non Catholic etc ) and so I'm just looking for some good Catholic friends( men and women ) and finding them my age in my area is really hard! I'm I think the youngest girl my age that's over 18 in my group and I'm over 21 :).

If you know any good places, please let me know or if any of you on here want to talk etc that would be awesome! I have facebook as well and I posted my link in the Fb ident. group.

Thanks! :)

I have no experience with any Catholic dating sites, but catholicmatch and avemariasingles seem to have a good reputation. I don't know a whole lot about them, but it seems like they are mostly geared towards finding relationships and it might be difficult to just find friends on them.

Well thanks! Yeah friendship is all I'm interested in so that is great!!! I found that not all Catholics on there are devoted and some don't agree with basic church teachings or go to church :( I looked at the CatholicMatch one and it looked better than the one I found ;)

Too much of an age spread. Over 10 years difference can be problematic.

I agree. That is probably too much of an age difference.

So I'm on there and mine says there for "friends" not interested in anything else right now..and so this site asks you if you agree with 7 teachings of the church and to each one you answer yes or no to and it shows what your answer is on your profile and I was AMAZED at how many would answer yes to 5 of 7 or 6 of 7 of them...The Q. are. which I answered yes to all of them.

1.Eucharist:
2.Contraception:
3.Sanctity of Life:
4.Papal Infallibility:
5.Premarital Sex:
6.Immaculate Conception:
7.Holy Orders:

Almost every guy who wanted to talk to me...had said NO to 2 or 5 or both......but yet they say on other questions it asks you..they are very devout and conservative :P I just laugh...I probably shouldn't but I do!! The few that did answer yes to all 7 are so much older than me...good thing I'm just there for friends!
