oh my...i just clicked on the original post and got this message :shock:

This is probably not the site that you are looking for!
You attempted to reach www.new.facebook.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as www.facebook.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of www.new.facebook.com. You should not proceed.

I just checked .... the correct URL no longer has "new" before "facebook" .... which would explain why people who click the link in the first post are being redirected :fyi:

and, FS, it might also explain why you got that "untrusted" message back in August ....

I don't know why it didn't work the first time. I think that my internet went out while I was trying to add him and I thought he was added, but he wasn't. Since I got on dsl, that happens a lot. :verymad:

It'll go out, everything stalls, and then it comes back again. At times it would only happen for a few seconds, other times it would be 10 minutes or longer. It's not so bad lately, but it was happening dozens of times a day for a while.
