I had a professor who used these sort of expressions all the time. I don't even want to type a lot of the expressions he would say. A friend, who is a practicing Catholic, told him that she finds it offensive, but he said they're just words. :/

I don't allow such expressions in my house or in my presence from my children or grandchildren. I think they are all attuned to the offensiveness of those expressions and I hope they don't do it when I'm not around.
