I have a fond memory of eating ripe, sun-warmed figs straight from the tree on the banks of the Alabama River.

Welcome! :wave

I have a fig tree on my farm that came from my grandmother's fig tree at the old home place. The original is still living and bearing fruit. Mine is still fairly young and has started bearing, but the birds and squirrels get to the figs before they are ripe enough to pick. :?
