I have been Catholic my whole life and my husband was baptized Catholic but never practiced his faith. My husband is active duty Air Force and we are currently stationed overseas (Misawa, Japan). We are going through RCIA classes together (I figured I could use a refresher and learn something new) so he is able to make his confirmation and communion this Spring.

We're hoping to find answers to our questions so we can share with our classmates each week.

Your friend in Christ,

Clare

Good afternoon to you also.

My family and I were stationed in Japan (Camp Zama - the Tokyo area) from 1988 to 1991. We were not in the fullness of the Catholic Faith then, but were believers in the redemption gift given to us by Jesus Christ. Thus is it obvious we (Kalona and I) are converts.

Please ask any of your questions on this board. You should find many of those here are well versed on the Catholic Faith and will do whatever they can to help.

Welcome to DCF!

I try to have a little something for everybody in my posts. If you notice a spelling, grammar, or punctuation error... well... I put that in for you.

I remember a lot of things. (Some of which actually happened.)
