Can anyone translate "neutralitas non valet in regno Dei"? It is a Latin expression used in Karl Barth's Dogmatics

I'm guessing something like, "neutrality is not strong in God's Kingdom." (?). Something like that...

We have a few members here who are Latin scholars, like Pro Ecclesia Dei, or Obi Wan Kanobi, who is a priest.

Welcome to DCF, however!!! :wave You may want to post an intro to yourself in the "welcome and introductions" forum.

That's a pretty good translation.

Valet can be a funny word to translate sometimes....it is so clear what it means if you know Latin, but in certain contexts so hard to translate.

DF gave a decent translation. One might also render it "neutrality does not prevail in the kingdom of God"

OK, so I am chiming in some months late, but I would translate this rather more idiomatically as "Neutrality isn't worth much in the Kingdom of God", or "... doesn't count....", or "... does not avail..." or "...does not signify..." (using 'signify' in the sense of 'has weight or significance') or even "...is of little importance...."
