This looks promising.

Catholic Voices USA is a lay effort to increase the numbers of well-catechized, effective Catholic communicators in American media.
The mission of Catholic Voices USA is to train volunteers to be articulate, apostolic voices in defense of the Church, from a variety of walks of life.
The effort is based on a successful program in England and is being developed in coordination with its English founders.
The effort is a direct answer to a call Pope Benedict XVI issued in January to U.S. bishops in Rome. In speaking about threats to religious freedom, the Holy Father said: "Here once more we see the need for an engaged, articulate and well-formed Catholic laity endowed with a strong critical sense vis-à-vis the dominant culture and with the courage to counter a reductive secularism which would delegitimize the Church's participation in public debate about the issues which are determining the future of American society."
"The preparation of committed lay leaders," he continued, "and the presentation of a convincing articulation of the Christian vision of man and society remain a primary task of the Church in your country; as essential components of the new evangelization, these concerns must shape the vision and goals of catechetical programs at every level."
At the heart of Catholic Voices USA is the recruiting and training of speakers who love and respect the authority of the bishops, but speak not because they have been designated by the Church to, but because they are living and defending their faith from their perches as lay men and women living in the world.
