Can we keep all discussion (from fans) to this one thread?

I don't want to run into any information accidental. My book will arrive today, but thanks to my seemingly-never-ending mountain of school work, I will probably not be able to start it before some time tomorrow. :(

Thanks!

Have at it... enjoy... I will be joining the discussion in a few days. 8-)

Here's what happens:

Harry potter goes to Business school where he earns an MBA and goes on to lead an exclusive insurance company. He specializes in Deagon insurance and raises 3 happy warlock children. The end.

They're not warlocks. They're wizards.

He's incorrectly paraphrasing the book. How rude!

It is deeply offensive.

I don't know who's going to monitor this thread, since I won't be able to read the book for some time yet. I need a volunteer.

I finished it. I can tell you that it ends when Luna Lovegood wakes up and realizes it was all a dream.

Okay, the real words of the last sentence are 'and then all the nuclear missiles in the entire world were launched at once, immediately killing all life on Earth and making the planet uninhabitable for the next million billion trillion quadrillion years'

That ending is quite a downer, but you have to admit, she has definitely ruled out the possibility of a sequel!

I guess Rowling really was influenced by C.S. Lewis. Killing everyone off at the end was a brilliant masterstroke! :)

I have read it a couple of times, last time was in 2003, so not quite 'every year.' I think I might have also re-read 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' right before seeing the 2005 movie, just to refresh my memory.

And the last time I read 'Lord of the Rings' was in 2004. (Twice that year actually)
