Here are the basic rules for those who wish access to the chat room:

The DCF chat room is a gathering place for members to meet in real time. It's where we kick back and relax, discussing assorted topics. We want the room to be a friendly place where members can openly and freely touch on issues that pertain to our Catholic faith. It is an unmoderated forum.

As a general rule, a member must have a minimum of 50 posts. This is in order for us to see a member's posting pattern. It's also to maintain the integrity of the chat room. There are times when several discussions are going on simultaneously, and new folks may not know the dynamics or personalities of the other members.

If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to pm either Blondie or myself.

Here's an additional rule for the chat room. Everyone is expected to abide by it.

The chat room is designed for members of DCF to "talk" live with one another. It's a room for fun, lively conversation. Because of the nature of the chat room, no debating is allowed. If there are any issues between posters in the chat room, please take the debate to the appropriate DCF forum. This is an unmoderated room, so I can't personally remove someone who is behaving inappropriately. However, out of respect for the rest of the posters, it would be charitable for the debating posters to leave the room.

I would like to join in the chat room

I may or may not believe coming forward is a necessary condition for salvation. But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or works water baptism is necessary for salvation.

how can I get back on thsi board for this new year?
