Bumble, don't feel bad, we have a couple of mormons who hang out with us, we love them dearly!

If they can stand us, anyone can!

It is a favorite around here too.
The kids quote it as much as dh and I do.

Of course, they have yet to see the other two movies that dh and I have 'inside jokes' about. MP and The Holy Grail and Repo Man.

Yes, Repo Man.

Get yourself a Clearplay DVD player and you can watch Monty Python with the kids. We have one and it's awesome! Now my older kids can tell me how they want a shrubbery.

A posting requirement of this forum is that one must have watched Monty Python movies and be familiar with the famous lines, posting them when appropriate.

Catholics say "hello" to each other in the liquor store :)

Jews don't recognize Jesus.
Protestants don't recognize the Pope.
Baptists don't recognize each other in the liquor store.

okay, next dumb Protestant question. can an individual receive salvation if they are not a member of the Roman Catholic Church? a question that has been bugging me for some time as you can imagine!

No. All sanctifying graces come through the Church. The only area for possible debate is the extent to which a person can be unknowingly affiliated with the visible Church.
