Makes sense. I was here before I formally converted which was Easter 2001, so I guess that puts me on the old format.

I think it was Friend of Augustine who led me from Theology Online to DCF.

If you had to re-register to this format, then you were on the old format.

Yep, had to reregister. Good thing my name is backwards! Had no trouble getting it back.

The original board was instrumental in my return to the Catholic Church. I did an Internet search for "infant baptism" & found Steve's site. I started asking questions, bought Steve's conversion story book, started to go to Mass & "officially" returned to the Church during Lent 2000.

P.S. I'll bet those Fall 1999 threads on the old board have evaporated into the ether but I'd love to read them. It's kind of a journal of my return.

I think I was netcurtains, then netcurtains2 and then netcurtains3..... Not sure what my original name tag was. But it does go back some way. I'm sure it was about the time my middle son did First Communion so that has to be at least 12 years ago, perhaps longer - I can't really remember - well over a decade but not quite two decades.

I was on the old board, different name. I don't remember what it was. Took me awhile to get on this board when we moved because of a technical issue with my computer at the time. Don't remeber the year, but I do remrber when we visited Brother Bob's Baptist forum until they gave up and kicked us out. Those were the days.... I spent more time doing apologetics in the lion's dens than at Catholic sites. Stayed with Former Catholic's For Christ until the bitter end and that was a real life soap opera! I made it my mission to see that they abandon the board or closed it down and when they did, I decided it probably wasn't to healthy for me to spend too much time doing apologetics and spent more time here. Now days I spend my time in the Litugy of the Word and more uplifting endevors. I plan on hanging around her more often than I have the last couple of years.

I don't remember what your other username was either. I only remember Quo Vadis, especially on those other boards you mentioned. I didn't spend much time on the Baptist Board. Made my debut on John Ankerberg's board and stayed until they booted all the Catholics when one of his moderators converted to Catholicism. :cloud9:
