Hi, I was wondering if anyone could translate the following quote into Latin. I know you may not be able to get it word for word.

"She flies with her own wings, with no fear of falling"

Thanks in advance.

Alis volat propriis (She Flies With Her Own Wings).

That's the motto for the state of Oregon.

Thanks! Have you any idea with the "with no fear of falling" part?

I think that phrase would be either 'non timens cadere' or 'non metuens cadere'.

Or might be 'sine metu cadere.'

Or, one could use "sine cadendi timore" (without fear of falling) :)

The beta google translator suggests: "Illa volat propriis pinnas timor cadens"

I would prefer yours. "Sine metu cadere" could be understood "to fall without fear"

OK, that would be: "Alis volat propriis sine metu cadendi."

Google translators are very poor especially since Latin has a very rich grammar.
