Hmm, I sent in a request a few days ago and it was not yet approved.

if it is to the dcf group, it might be a bad time...his dad has been through the ringer...and except for a few prayer requests for him, i think kyle is off the internet for lent...maybe emily will respond to a direct request (if she is still involved in the administration of the group)

Was I hacked?

The group was updated to the new format this morning, and it seems that the default setting under the new format is to send all the members an e-mail for *EVERY* *SINGLE* *POST* *AND* *COMMENT*. However, e-mails can be easily turned off by clicking Edit Settings at the top of the group, and un-checking the appropriate box.

well that only works if you have a picture of yourself as a profile pictue...or are friends and can look at albums

Oh dear, I do hope the Facebook Group will not supersede this board. I have determined not to touch Facebook with the proverbial bargepole but it would be a high price not to be in touch with all of you.

The FB group is there largely for situations like we just had--when the board goes down :crying:

we have a place to commiserate, confirm that it's not just one or two people having a problem, share information about how to bypass the problem (when possible) so we may resume post-padding witty and insightful commentary as soon as possible, and get the word out when it starts working again.
