There's a motet I've heard twice in the past couple of weeks (and I think I had heard it before, too). I like it but I don't know the name of it. I don't have much to describe it. The most distinctive thing is the repetition of "miserere" by different voices. I heard it once at Benediction and once during Communion, and it was sung by three or four voices without accompaniment. I know that's not much to go on, but does this ring a bell for anyone?

Thanks!

No, it's not a round. That's just the most noticeable and memorable part of it, when each voice sings miserere.

I know a few people who would know. I'll (probably) be seeing a few of them in a few weeks, so maybe I'll ask then. :)

I think I know that of which you speak...cannot remember the name

I'm just thrilled someone else knows what I mean! I'll stumble upon the name eventually. :)

Yup, I know! They were being tricky. It's funny I heard that version twice in two weeks.
