The gospel of Luke from Luther's translated Bible.

    Luk 1:28
28 Vnd der Engel kam zu jr hin ein / vnd sprach / Gegrüsset seistu holdselige / der HERR ist mit dir / du Gebenedeiete (1) vnter den Weibern.

My question, did he translate "kecharitomene" as "full of grace" in that verse?

No, he would write Gnadenvolle "full of grace" instead of Holdselige "sweet" or "lovely".

For Hail Mary's, German people would say "Du bist voll der Gnade."

"Gebenedeit" means "blessed."

The phrase "du Gebenedeiete vnter den Weibern" is much like "Blessed art thou among women." That phrase was present in important Greek manuscripts and early translations. It is generally omitted.

In Dutch it's also 'Gebenedeit zijt gij onder de vrouwen' (Blessed art thou among women), so yes...it's 'blessed'
