Our Director of Religious Education took all the First Penance/Communicants one by one today and gave them an oral test on what they needed to know for their sacraments. Ray passed. He was hopping up and down today with joy.

I also practiced with the host with him and he's fine with receiving it. Taking the precious blood would be a problem, though, so I'm going to recommend that Father not offer it to him.

His First Penance is next Saturday. Pray for him! :)

Addendum - when i say I practiced with the host with him - I mean an UNCONSECRATED one. Just wanted to clarify so people don't freak...
