verlander gives up more hits than innings pitched...and almost that many runs... and then the yanks get the walk off passed ball for the win :mrgreen:

and the 'stros actually beat the reds...and scored 7 runs doing it

and kudos to us for staying ahead of the cubs...at least temporarily... as the cubs shocked the phils :shock:

sadly, the rest of the state could not keep up with their side of the bargain...as they lost to the rays

garcia stinks up another start...1.2 innings pitched and 6 earned runs (i think).... pretty nasty stat.... maybe the bombers can come back...ya never know :wink:

I have a soft spot for the Cubs, played in their uni 2 years Little League, got to be full time catcher when someone forgot to wear his cup...
