I agree with everyone else though. That's a question for Cath101 and not the DVC forum. We have to respect board rules. If you ask the question there, you will get a plethora of information.

Please, don't accuse us of things you know nothing about. You don't know us or our history. There are lots of steriotypes curculated about our beliefs and most of them are wrong. Please, have the courtesy of educating yourself about our them before you accuse of things.

Actually I forgot what forum we were in or I would of directed you to 101 earlier....however perhaps you should look up the word hypocrite....afterall I've asked you questions, the same questions about 3 times now and you still haven't answered them.

Wow! What a thread. Okay, mind if I jump in?


1. Doom repeatedly refers to legal principles regarding the burden of proof. It just so happens that I'm a criminal defense attorney, and I can tell you that he's correct with respect to the burden of proof. The burden of proof rests upon the party who is offering a proposition. If Dan Brown wants to prove Jesus was married, he must produce evidence. Saying that there is no evidence to prove Jesus was single isn't the same because it's a negative. That's like saying there's no evidence that the defendant is guilty and there's no evidence that he's innocent so we cannot have a verdict. It doesn't work that way. In a criminal trial, if the prosecution presents zero proof and the defense presents zero proof, the verdict isn't a big question mark, the verdict is "Not Guilty" because the party bearing the burden to prove the affirmative proposition has failed. You assume the negative until the affirmative has been proven.

2. Someone mentioned several pages ago that the Bible doesn't say the world is round. Actually, it does, in Isaiah 40:22.

3. Jesus could not possibly have had a wife because His bride is the Church, Rev. 19:7; Rev. 21:9; Rev. 22:17.
